Tonight on FOX SYTYCD at 9pm EST ~ Jon Platero

Hey Everybody,

It's crazy that how 2 weeks can change someone's life. That has happened to Jonathan Platero. Tonight the show will debut 20 finalists and 2 will not continue. You can only imagine the pressure to those dancers to know that you can go home. Although they all accomplished what many dancers only dream of doing. It's still a competition and everyone is there to win.

Jon's mother is in LA and called me and told me how she got there safe and she can't wait to see the show. It's amazing that a few years ago I was at their house and he was dancing and we just talked about how far one can go. Now he's on the program that made him decide to start dancing. His mother must be so proud. That has got to be one of the most incredible feelings to have. Knowing your child set their mind to do something and actually making it happen. It's got to be mind blowing and you get the sense of calmness because as a mother you can say. "I've done my best to raise a good kid and he's persuing his dreams."

I also talked to one of Jon's dance partners, Yahaira Sierra, she happens to also be my best friend and she tells me that Jon feels good about everything and at the same time he is anxious and nervous. In talking to her you would think she is on the show and about to dance. ;)~ It's all out of friendship and knowing that your friend is doing what he always wanted to do. She is so proud of him and just wants him to do well. We are just on edge to see tonight what the outcome is. :)

As for myself, i'm just amazed on how everything is going so fast. I wish I could go and see a show. That would be the ultimate thing. You don't get chances like that, how many people you know that get on a major TV show and you can go and see them? Not many. I've been blessed to know Jon and get to see him do some amazing performances. Now I can see him on TV and be like "I know him". How about that.

That's all for now and I will continue to give you information on where to call or where to vote online. Stay tuned for more on Jonathan Platero's road to #1!
